Art from last night when I should have been sleeping...

Uuuugh... I had to wake up at 630 and go over to watch the kids at 7am this morning... I know that this doesn't sound like alot, but I usually wake up at 9 or later on Friday. Claire and Jack are sick, and my aunt doesn't want Coco to ride the bus by herself, so they all stayed home.
So I get over there at 7 and my aunt leaves like 15 mins later. The minute after she leaves, Coco comes out of her room, sees me, and goes back into her room and cries. So I peak my head in and whisper "Why are you crying?" and she tells me to GO AWAY!... So I did... but then I got worried about Claire waking up, (because she gets awful crabby when she is sick and her getting enough sleep is crucial to keep the crabbiness down to a min.) so I peaked in again and she (coco) told me to go away again.
Then Claire got up. She peaked into her mom's room and didn't see me because I was down the hallway. Then she went to the bathroom and I heard HER crying in there... I crack the door open and ask her what is wrong. She tells me that she misses mommy. I tell her that she should go and get some more sleep because it's really early, and she blows up on me. I have to get her out of the bathroom and pry her fingers off of the door frame and get her back in bed.
Coco is back in bed already and scowling at me. I tell Claire to go back to sleep and she'll see Mommy when she comes home from work, and she has a HUGE tantrum on her bed. I knew better than to go in there, so I left her alone.
She calmed down pretty quickly and she played with some stuff in her room. Then Coco got up and came out and asked me if she could stay up. I told her yeah and she went back in her room. Then Jack woke up.
I went out in the living room and was fiddling with Coco's new Disney Princess cash register/check out thing and we all played store until Jack decided to be the "drunk" shoplifter. Prior to that, he returned all of the items he had purchased with invisible money to obtain almost all of the play money in the register... he's so greedy...
The Jack had breakfast and went and played video games while I gave Coco and Claire their cereal. After that, I had to flush over 40 ants that were in the sink eating whatever was on those dishes down the drain. I repeated this process about 4 times today. I also killed a bunch by running the dishwasher...
Later we watched Jack play his Animal Crossing video game and I let the kids lay all over me. I figured that if we're calm, it's kind of like sleeping, and they won't be so cranky later... and it worked pretty good! :D
After a few hours of that... lol we got dressed and made the beds and stuff. Then Coco started in. She was being fresh mouthed and was complaining and wanting to go outside and stuff. I couldn't take them out because Jack and Claire both have sinus infections and Jack has and ear infection in his right ear to boot. Coco should have gone to school today. She would have been fine...
So I got her to play something quiet and calm down, I think she was playing Ninja Turtles, or school or something... Jack and me vegged out and watched a "virminators" episode that he recorded. Those houses were pretty nasty and made the hoards of ants in the sink look like nothing. If you want to feel like your house is hospital clean, watch an episode of that show... unless your house looks like that... then you may want to call pest control...
Then I made them lunch and while they were eating, I started to trace and cut out the pieces of my costume. I'm over 50% done with that. I have a few pieces to pin down and cut out, then I get to do the easy part of sewing them together. Then I get to start on Coco and Claire's Peach and Daisy costumes!! :D
After lunch, we played red light green light. The kids love that game. When it gets too easy, I mix it up by saying things like "red stop sign" instead of "red light green light 1-2-3" lol "red rover" got Jack too. Then we played mother may I and Jack finished his episode of verminators.
Then the kids went and played by themselves and I got ALOT of the tracing, pinning, and cutting done. Then Claire came out and asked Jack if he could help with the video game. I told her to just keep trying. Then she started to pout and fuss and I told her that she should try again, and if it doesn't work, get another game. She needs to start doing more things for herself, and she has, but there's still more that she can do. So she stomped back into Jack's room and was quiet. I checked in on her later and she was playing a different game.
Coco came back to me and asked if we could play hide-and-seek, so we did. I counted and she hid in a really good spot and Jack hid in the dryer, his usual spot lol. Then when it was Coco's turn to play, the dishwasher stopped and I emptied it to make sure there were no ants on the clean dishes. She counted and then came out and had something in her cheeks. It was the 2 marbles that I told her to spit out and not put in her mouth earlier. I asked her what they were and she lied and said nothing, so I had her sit on the counter and put some soap on her fingers. I told her to put them in her mouth and asked how it tastes and she smiled at me and licked her fingers as if I poured chocolate syrup on them... I can't win...
She came back later and spit in the sink and I asked her if it still tasted good and she looked at me miserably and said no so I helped her flush the rest of it out of her mouth. I told her that if she acted fresh or had anything else in her mouth that I'd use the dish-washing soap opposed to the hand soap. Jack overheard this and went "OH MAN!" I'm assuming that he's had that before...
After hide-and-seek, Jack asked to play Pirates of the Caribbean on-line, and I gave him the ok. He had been really good all day for being penned up with his crazy sisters. Claire was playing by herself and then Coco came out to me and complained that Claire had said that the hearts that she had drawn just looked like eyes and not hearts. (which they did) So I told her to sit and draw next to me and I wouldn't make fun of any of her art. And she did and was happy for a while.
Then the day came to a close and my other aunt took Claire to her house for a sleep over and I played video games with Jack and Coco until their mom came home with my brother who will help babysit this weekend.
I came home and took a shower and returned my aunts call. I am helping her sell jewelry on ebay. I made her a website, but it's not on its own server, so I'm hosting it on mine to show them what it will look like... Jessica's Jewelry The front page is always the hardest for me... So for now, it's filled with Lorem Ipsum.
But yeah... that's been it so far.. Had dinner and am really tired. I was suppose to go out and meet up with a friend from middle school, but that got canceled again I guess because he isn't answering his cell and I'm not going to keep calling. I was suppose to see him like a week ago, but plans got canceled. :/
I know that most of you will not read my 1,200+ word essay about my day, but I needed to rant I guess...

Today was my first day of Summer Babysitting!! wooo lol it went well. No fights or anything like that. We drew and watched TV and went to the library and made the kids' "points" charts. They get points when they do good things, and points taken away when they do bad things. If they obtain a certain number of points, they get a reward. YAY lol

Please note: There is a blue sewer cover on the top. lol She makes up stories to go with her pictures. She's so funny. It's so cool to see their art skills evolve. :)

OMG!! I'm pretty sure that I've said this recently, but its so true!! I had to sleep over babysit for 2 days because my cousins' mom went away for business. I had to get up at like 6:10, get Jack up, fed, and dressed and on the bus. Then I went back to sleep until like 8, then got up and got the twins all dressed and fed and stuff for pre-school. Then I went back to sleep until 11am and made the beds and stuff and then went and got the girls from school at 12.
If I had to get up, get them all off to school, and then go to WORK until like 5.... I'd be dead... Mothers deserve ALOT of super credits. SERIOUSLY!!
In other news :shuffles papers: I auditioned for Pirates of Penzance on Wed. and a whole bunch of my friends were there!! It was so fun! I totally messed mine up, but its ok because I wanted ensemble any ways. (seriously)I am super excited!!
I watched the 3rd TMNT movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles In Time! and It was awesome. They changed the designs of the faces, but they also made them more expressive. IE:
I love that face. I can't find a better cap, but he rolls and crosses his eyes too. lol I had to rewind that part and watch it a few times lol
I also have some pics that Coco and Claire drew and colored for me. I love those kids!! :D
The Turtles, Splinter, and April all going either "oh no" or "yes" lol April is a fish person because of the episode that we most recently watched.

Today I have to clean the bird cage, take my mom's computer to get fixed. I don't know why I have to do it, I didn't break it. But APPARENTLY because I own a computer that doesn't suck, I have to have friends that know how to fix computers... WHAT ever... |

So, my last 2 finals are on Monday! OH JOY!! The easy ones are over with and I got a A+ on the group presentation final that I participated in in Public Speaking. I had like 105% in Art Appriciation, even if I failed that final (which I did not) I still passed.
So the last 2 are the hard ones!! OH JOY!! Math and Chem... *grumbles*
I believe that all of my friends are down for the summer! HURRAY!! I need to hang out with them all before they go back.
OH! hp_wankfest on Insane Journal has started posting! I made an art entry myself, but the fics and other art are AMAZING!!! You should go check them out if u like hp smut... lol
Ummm... TMNT is still stuck in my brain. I'm currently tying to figure out WHY this happened and what started it. The first digital art that I have in my files was from Sept. 24th 2007, but then there was a big hiatus until this March... hmmm... Still looking into it...

today I had fun with the kids. We went swimming for a bit and I taught them how to play go-fish properly. Although coco likes to ask for Aces when she doesn't have them or the set is already completed by someone else... lol

Yeah, so Mikey gives Artemisis(my oc)a feather duster as a gift, because she keeps the lair clean and Mikey can be stupid. She takes it as an insult, chucks it at his head, knocking him out cold and then stomps off.
This is after all that, and Misia is pissy and Mikey is working up the courage to apologize. lol

I watched the kids today. Coco still has bronchitis.
I found some new shiny metallic pencils and we drew today. I scanned a bunch of them. Most are Avatar related. The kids really like that show! We finished book 2 today. Jack likes it better than the girls, but its because hes older and understands.
I got a speeding ticket tonight :( My first. The cop totally went easy on me. But it still really sucks...

This is Speck. He is a whale. He has a spot on his forehead. The stuff on the top of his head is the blowhole w/water coming out and his fin. (by Coco)
This is the whale and a unicorn. As you can see, the unicorn's mouth has been erased and re-drawn a few times. It's because Coco was telling me the story: "The unicorn was at the beach and the whale came up and was trying to eat it so its killed the whale and got its blood all over its horn and then it was happy again because it didn't get eatted." That kid has such an imagination. She plays with pencils and pretends they are people.
Here's Sokka and Katara. Sokka was sick and fell asleep, so Katara put earrings on him and put makeup on his face. (by Coco)

Favorite drawing for 2007:
I drew this pic after I had a loverly dream that I went on a date with Orlando Bloom as a pirate. He wasn't Will Turner, he was Orlando. I drew it with my tablet and think its cute... The grass and little flowers look better than the people, but its cute!!
My best drawing for 2007:
Its a pic for the ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) fanart100 prompt that I have for Legolas. I wasn't sure what to do, so I took the image and traced it. Then I colored it all my own and edited it. I also added Legolas to the scene. It's for # Sunset. I know that it's kinda cheating, but Ive never done intence backgrounds before. Im working on that, it's in my goals!

This was gift art for lotr_sesa gift exchange. It was the first time I'd ever drawn serious slash, man bits, or sexual anything! it was a huge leap for me. I kno that many people aren't into that kind of stuff. That's probably why I didn't get alot of feedback to it.

There were SO many!!! I have photoshop files that are named "doodle#" that are layers of tablet doodles! lol This was a hard thing to choose... I'm going to have to go with this one because it was a comic as well as a drawing. It was my "plans" for when I went up to UCF to visit my friends. It was fun! ^-^
Sexiest drawing:
Oh geeze.... It's got to be this one. Its a sketch I did of Will Turner. I used one refrence photo and drew it in one sitting. I randomly went "hey! I want to draw Will!" and did. I think profiles are eaiser to draw than fronts of faces.
Picture I want to be remembered by:
SUPER VIRGIN!! I did this with vectors and a crazy idea. I was working on it for a while, and it's totally me.

Drawing that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
I really dont have one like that. This is probably the closest thing. Me and my brother were joking around one night and hes like "what if gollom was gay for himself?" lol it went down from there....
Hardest drawing to do:
Drew for practice for the Faramir/Aragorn giftie. I used new blending techniques, new drawing techniques, new hair, new skin. I wanted to get it really right So i knew what to do with the other picture.
Biggest disappointment:
This one was going good, then I realize that I had drawn alot of it on the white layer, and not a blank one. I tried gtting rid of all the white, but wasnt too sucessful...
Biggest surprise:
This was a quick idea, not really thinking about it one. Its cool though.. More surprises for you than for me though...
Goals for 2008:
Work on backgrounds, people, anatomy, and draw more! I want to master my tablet and draw more realistic looking art.

I had to get up at 6am today.... I know that there are people out there that do that like everyday... but I haven't been up before 6 since before summer started!! So yeah, and I only got like MAYBE 6 hours of sleep... after a double waitressing shift...ON A HOLIDAY!! so yeah
Why did i do this? I went over to babysit my cousins! :D So it was all worth it!
I got there at 7am and my aunt took her son, ALMOST 7-yr-old Jack, to work with her. So i had the twins all day. Claire was already up, but Coco woke up later. We watched some "curious George", then some "Super Why". The I made sandwiches at like 9:30? and had to use some weird tactics to get Coco to eat. I scraped my knee open (again) the other day and it looks pretty nasty. I told her that I'd show her my "boo-boo" if she ate, and it worked because she likes weird stuff like that.
I got them dressed and cleaned up. Then we headed off towards the "horsey park". I get there and the damn place is closed for the holiday. Who closes a park on a holiday like Veteran's Day??! So, across the street is this place called "butterfly world." I know that the admission is expensive, but I didn't know HOW expensive. For me, and 2 kids it was $60.00!!! It was ridiculous!!
They liked it tho. There are butterflies and birds and coy ponds and things. There was a Lorikeet exhibit, and they will sit on your arm or head or whatever, and I had a few on me. Coco wanted to hold one, but when I got near with it she got scared.
Later we went back home and colored. Well, they colored and I told them how to spell things as I 1/2 slept(i wrote sleeped) on the couch.

So then we go play house and I tidy up. As I'm leaving once their mom comes home, Claire hands me this:
It's $5. And I will get one every time I babysit... which will be 4 times a week now. I wonder if I can save them and get it turned into cash when she's like 15...

At dinner tonight, me and my brother randomly started talking as gollum/smeagol. Once my parents cleared the area, it got sillier. Then Dan goes "what if gollum was gay for himself and was in a love/hate relationship?" I burst out laughing... and it inspired me to make art... lol

There were many men... some shirtless... cross-dressers preformed and that was interesting! :D People are usually disgusted, but I'm cool with it. If you have the ballz to dress like they did... have FUN! lol One dude took his pants n undies off... and he got in trouble... lol

I am still here and I feel SO GOOD today! *dances*
I got up at my usual 5am nonsence and walked to the bus stop and got there like 5 mins before 6 so I was early, go me!
So we're all waiting and waiting... the bus is late.
At about 6:45, Nicole calls her mom and her mom calls teh bus transit place, and they tell her that the bus was a substitute bus and it came and it picked up 2 kids and another one isn't coming.
Nice.
So at 7am, which is when school starts, I go home.
I crawl back in bed after shedding the clothes that I had JUST put on 2 hours eariler and I go to sleep.
I woke up at 1pm! :D That's an hour before school gets out. lol
I cleaned the porch, mopped the kitchen, and now I am here.
Today was a good day
AND! to make it better, I don't have to go to work!! *dances sum more*

I am here and am suppose to be working in Adobe Premiere, but I'm restless, so I will type!
I got a superior on my costume designs! :D when I get some time, I will scan them and show you what I did. They were for the musical comedy Honk! they were cute. The judges didn't really have any complaints. One told me to watch the colors because he thought that the duck mother should have been more white than yellow, and the other said to watch the type of fabrics that I use, but i knew that. I had slim pickins because the craft store that I had to go to was closing, and they only had so many fabrics left. but yay! I get to take my designs and fix them up and take them to states. :D
In other news, I finished coloring my very first original art in Photoshop!!!

I just watched the trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, and I have some critiques...
1. Harry's short hair makes him look fat. I think it should be long because this was his most emo book. He should also have a tear permently on his cheek.
2. Umbridge isn't wide enough. I always pictured her fatter and shorter.
3. Bellatrix, I assume, was pretty crazy looking, but I alays pictured her with stright stright hair and crazy eyes.
other than that, I think that it looks awesome! and I think that the Death Eater's masks are awesome. they also made me think... where do they get the masks? does a store sell them or do they make them?
In POTC news...
while replying to the comments of the banners that I made, me and ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) robes_of_earth were talking about Will tied up and the Cannibals being into bondage... because of my icon *points to icon* and I drew a comic!! yay!

Hey papples! I made some art!
The first 2 are from Cinderella.. I was babysitting my 2 little "princess" cousins and we were reading the Cinderella book that they had, and then it was art time! So for my art, I drew the evil step sisters, and attempted Cinderella, but she looked very... stoned, and my cousins took it somewhere, but I kept the step sisters. I'm not sure if I have the names down right, but w/e...
I didn't copy the pics eaither, I used a refrence, but I didn't copy...

And there was someone who left a rude, but not exactly nasty comment. I don't like that. I think that it is impeciably rude for someone to do something like that. It's happened to me before, to my fanart100 challange. They told me that I had no life besically. I don't like that. If you have a problem with something, tell me yourself. You can say it in a polite way and I will explain myself to the fullest. I have strong faith that it was none of my friends, but if it was, please, next time, be honest and don't cower behind anonmyous signs.
